Mission
To enhance and build bridges of peace consciousness throughout Canada, through the development of The Fountain of Peace Project. This consists of a mobile, peace-centered tangible project that unites Canadian school children, teachers, parents and friends and supports the vision of personal and world peace.
To develop an opportunity for personal, cultural and regional sharing of messages of peace.
Vision
The Fountain of Peace Project is a catalyst to share conversation, imagination and wishes of peace with other children across Canada, thus raising peace consciousness as a daily practice. The project is an idea generator, encouraging both students and teachers:
To actively engage in clarifying what peace means to them.
To provide an opportunity to identify where and when children feel peaceful.
To create an opportunity to share and exchange ideas related to peace.
To ignite the same enthusiasm felt by Canadians in 1967 Centennial.
To generate peace events rooted in our schools, homes and communities.
To create student-led peace activities that evolve from sharing ways to know personal peace.

To help support the Canadian Foundation of Peace by raising peace consciousness with Canadian children based upon:
A personal peace environment and how it influences our level of acceptance and understanding.
Canada’s history as a leader in peacekeeping and fostering world peace.
